Hi, I’m Yvette, Momma Llama herself— the fiber artist behind the hook! I’m a momma of five, animal lover, moon child, weirdo, and proud yarnologist. A crafter by trade and crocheter by choice, I found healing through loops and knots. What started as crocheting my sanity soon became a way of turning the darkness into something soft, beautiful, and full of soul.
Heart to Home Boutique was born from that need to create something real — something rooted in feeling. For years, I was a formerly solo business owner, doing everything by hand and heart. Now, I’m lucky to walk this creative path with a growing tribe of talented souls. It’s no longer just my dream — it’s our shared vision.My journey began at the feet of my Great Grandma. She was always making something, always creating — until she couldn’t. As a child, it was pure magic watching something come from nothing. That magic still lives in me today. I see it in my toddlers’ eyes when I finish a project, and I feel it myself every time a piece comes together — especially when I wasn’t sure it would.
Crochet isn’t just a hobby. It’s legacy. It’s therapy. It’s rebellion. It’s quiet power. I don’t follow patterns too strictly — I let the yarn speak, and I follow where it leads. That same intuition guides me through motherhood, art, and even my studies as I explore IT tech support (because this moon child also happens to be a bit of a tech nerd).I believe in duality — in being soft and strong, bold and grounded, wild and intentional. I believe in slow, soulful making. And most of all, I believe in creating pieces that carry energy, meaning, and love into someone else’s life.
